So sad!

LFO singer Rich Cronin, above middle, passed away Wednesday after a long fight with leukemia.

He was just 35 years old!

Best known for his hits Summer Girls and Girl On TV, Cronin was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005. He is said to have had a stroke on Wednesday, which he did not recover from.

Friends such as Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick first broke the news of the singer’s tragic death on Facebook and Twitter.

Our condolences to Rich’s family and friends!

His memory will not only live on in his music, though, but also in the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation he founded.

Lauryn Hill kept fans at her D.C. concert waiting for THREE hours before she came out on stage!

And that’s not the worst of it! The reason she took so long is because she was waiting for her manicure/pedicure to dry!

Her rep spewed some bullshit:

“She’s sorry she kept her fans waiting, but couldn’t go out there looking busted!”

It’s amazing that any of her fans stuck around that long! Here’s our advice: steer clear of Lauryn Hill concerts, especially if you hear that she had her nails done!

It’s actually happening!

Glee’s Matthew Morrison will release his debut album on Mercury in February 2011.

He said:

“I’m about three-quarters of the way done with the album. During our hiatus was the big chunk of putting it together — it’s full-time ‘Glee’ right now. I’m trying to do it on the weekends.” But it doesn’t bother his since “‘Glee’ is promotion of the album.”

The album has a varied sound with “a lot of stuff that you would find on the adult contemporary charts, but stuff that I hope you’ll hear in the club and you can dance to.”

Mr. Morrision even plans on touring once the album is completed.

We’re sure there will be several girls and boys desperate to see him live!

He’s blowing up!

Joel McHale, the host of The Soup and star of the HIGHlarious sitcom Community, has landed a part in Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids 4!

He’ll allegedly portray Jessica Alba’s husband, who is a spy-hunting reporter.

We honestly can’t even believe that a fourth one of these things is being made, but at least they’re securing a decent cast!

Even YESsica! She’s not half bad, you know, when the content is of a lighter fare!

There has been all kinds of set backs with this movie, but for this guy’s sake, we hope they work this one out.

Meet Martin Freeman. You probably know him best as Tim from the original U.K. version of The Office. Anywhoos, Martin was approached by New Line and MGM, who are backing the new Hobbit movie, to star as the iconic Bilbo Baggins character. It’s an offer no one would want to refuse, considering, as we hear it, it was a seven-figure offer.

But alas, Martin had to decline, as his schedule wouldn’t allow it, as he is currently committed to shooting the new BBC series, Sherlock. However, we’re hearing that the studio is desperate to nab him and they are working on a new shooting schedule that would be more accommodating for Martin.

A lot of work and money is going in to get this guy. Let’s hope it works! We think he would be great!
