The first one hasn’t even hit theaters yet, but Warner Bros. is already getting the Sherlock Holmes sequel off the ground.

Along with bringing in new writers and securing Robert Downey Jr. to reprise his role as the great Sherlock Holmes, there is also a plan in place to nab Brad Pitt for a new role.

Brad, Robert, and Jude Law all in one flick?! DO IT!!!!!!!

Brad would be playing Moriarty, Holmes’ arch nemesis, a character who remains unrecognizable and hidden in shadow throughout the first film. However, if Brad is to sign on and does so before the December release, there is a chance that Guy Ritchie will step in to bring a shot or two of Brad for the first film.

This thing sounds like it could pretty epic. Hopefully, it won’t be a total let down.
